Kelsey just finished her freshman year at the University of Dayton and is excited to announce that beginning in the fall she will be attending Berklee College of Music. She will be majoring in “Professional Music” and studying contemporary songwriting and music business, while incorporating pop/rock vocal training.

This past month has been busy for Kelsey, not only can you now purchase her music on iTunes and CD Baby (see “Purchase Music” section for further details), but she has also been featured on Cleveland’s Fox 8 morning show and has write-ups in a few local papers. This media attention was spurred by Kelsey’s recent participation in a MTV contest. The contest was entitled “I Want My Music on MTV.” In the contest thousands of song entries were narrowed down to the top six vote-getters their music was sent to MTV executives who will review all six songs and choose one to play behind a primetime MTV show. Thanks to the help from devoted fans and friends Kelsey became one of the top six vote-getters and is currently awaiting a decision from MTV. For all of those in the Cleveland area, be sure to tune in to Fox News 8 on June 6th during the Friday Morning Show. During the summer Fox 8 runs a concert series with artists performing in front of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during the “Kicking it with Kenny” portion of the morning broadcast. Kelsey will be performing with her full band on the show so be sure to check it out.
